Market Square, Witney

Refurbishment and major extension of an existing two storey, Victorian cottage, to form a uniquely designed, new house for a private client in the centre of Witney. The existing cottage was completely gutted with the existing first floor removed and replaced. The timber roof structure was strengthened and completely re-tiled. A new extension was added to the cottage, vastly increasing its original size. The old and new were linked by a purpose built, predominantly glazed, connection. Large glazed elements form an integral feature of the new building. The whole new building was set in its own landscaped garden. The project was completed in March 2018 and included a bespoke workshop unit designed to be in keeping with the cottage.
